Casa Vogue | Décor of the day: minimalist home office with a view to nature

Nothing is more enjoyable than reading a book, idealizing projects or even just answering emails with two glass windows framing the surroundings. Designed by the Framestudio office, taking advantage of the small space of passage in the best way, this minimalist home office has a privileged view of nature. As the structure of the house, a modernist cabin in Northern California, is already more than enough to cause visual impact, the architects who made the renovation of the vacation home opted for a decoration with few and good elements.

As the construction dates back to 1963, the use of local materials, such as redwood and pine woods, is common to architecture and some interior details such as stairs and walkways. The light wood desk looks like this with aesthetics and seems to merge with the landscape. On top of it, a sculptural lamp and few decorative elements make our gaze turn to the ornamental chair with bright yellow seat, trendy color trend in the interiors, and to the crumpled paper basket. If we visually divide the environment into meridians, the lower part balances the weight and the imposture of the garden trees, using two decorative pieces of impact. Most inviting impossible!
